Administrative Officials and Innocent Civilians Recklessly Assassinated by So-called PDF Terrorists

     In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, “informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 8 March 2025 at 8:30 AM, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Bo Ta Htaung Village, Minhla Township of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Tun Tun Naing (50 years old), a resident of the village, was at his house when two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on him. As a result, U Tun Tun Naing died on the spot, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 8:45 AM, a report stated that three men were shot dead near Inn Kone Village in Pwintphyu Township of Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Myint Ko (40 years old), U Zaw Lin Oo (45 years old), both residents of Htoo Pauk Village and Ko Hein Tun Win (27 years old), a resident of Inn Kone Village, were at their respective houses when approximately 50 so-called PDF terrorists arrived and abducted them. The terrorists took them to an area near Inn Kone Village where they shot them. As a result, all men died on the spot, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 1:00 PM, a report stated that a man was shot dead in Nat Hta Min Village, Minhla Township of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Thet Naing Soe (aka) Ko Nge Lay (55 years old), a resident of the village, was at his house when two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on him. As a result, U Thet Naing Soe (aka) Ko Nge Lay died on the spot, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 5:15 PM, a report stated that a man was shot dead near Ah Lote Su Village in Nyaunglebin Township of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Aung Myo (47 years old), a 100-household elder and resident of Gaung Thar Village, was returning to his village from Ah Lote Su Village. When he reached the Nabu Pagoda approximately three furlongs west of Ah Lote Su Village, a faction of KNU members who support terrorism, along with so-called PDF terrorists opened fire on him. As a result, U Aung Myo died on the spot, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the killings and the assassinations of administrative official and innocent civilians in the aforementioned cases, it is reported.
