Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 5 May 2025 at 12:10 PM, a report stated that a child with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Taungoo Township Public Hospital of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the injured victim was identified as Mg Htet Myat Thu (13 years old), a resident of Khyo Pin Thar Village in Htantabin Township. In the incident, a faction of pro-terrorism KNU members, along with so-called PDF terrorists fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village, causing injuries to the above-mentioned child, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets into towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, civilian casualties have been reported. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
