Child Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by Terrorists in Patheingyi Township of Mandalay Region

     Terrorists committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 21 March 2025 at 12:30 PM, a report stated that a child with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Mg Myo Myint Kyaw (seven years old), boy from Mya Kan Thar Village in Patheingyi Township. The incident occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the village. The shells exploded within the village, causing injuries to the child, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
