Terrorists committing inhuman acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 24 April 2025 at 1:00 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into Thaung Pu Chaung Village in Htantabin Township of Bago Region. The shells exploded within the village, causing injuries to four residents: U Phone Myint Tun (49 years old), Daw Ni Lar Win (37 years old), Mg Kyal Sin Maung (eight years old) and U Han Win (40 years old). All injured individuals were transported to Taungoo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets into towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, civilian casualties have been reported. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
