Innocent Civilian Injured After Stepping on Explosive Device Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Faction in Yaesagyo Township of Magway Region

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 April 2025 at 11:45 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Pakokku Township Public Hospital, Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Man Maw (62 years old), a resident of Kyauk Hlay Khar Village in Yaesagyo Township. The incident occurred when the victim stepped on an explosive device, reportedly planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction, while he was working in a Thanaka tree plantation located approximately 50 yard north of his house. The device detonated, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
