Terrorists committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 22 February 2025 at 7:00 PM, a report stated that two men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to the Meiktilar Township Public Hospital of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims U Ye Naing Lin (40 years old) and his son, Mg Khant Wai Yan Lin (four years old), both residents of Yone Si Gyi Village in Taungtha Township. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victims’ village. One of the heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 7:45 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Minbu District Public Hospital in Minbu (Saku) Township of Magway Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Kyaw Tun (58 years old), a resident of Lin Tal Village in Ngaphel Township. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction conducted an attack by dropping bombs on the victim’s village. One of the bombs exploded within the village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
