Terrorists committing inhuman acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 23 April 2025 at 2:30 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Taungoo Township Public Hospital of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Mg Gohpar (17 year old), a resident of Ga Ran Ma Tee Village in Phyu Township. The incident occurred when a faction of pro-terrorism KNU members, along with so-called PDF terrorists fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village. The shells exploded within the village, causing his injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets into towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, civilian casualties have been reported. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
