Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 9 July 2025 at 9:20 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group fired heavy weapons on Kawt Laing Village in Yebyu Township of Tanintharyi Region. One of the shells exploded within the village. As a result, Daw Pa Pa Khine (38 years old), a resident of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries from the blast and was transported to Dawei District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
