Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack on Village by Terrorists

     Insurgents committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 23 January 2025 at 10:00 AM, a report stated that a woman with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Ma Mu Yar Win (26 years old), a resident of Ka Bar Tal Village in Kyaukpadaung Township. The incident occurred that when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village. One of the shells exploded within the village, causing her injuries, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
