Terrorists committing inhuman acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 25 April 2025 at 1:00 PM, a terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into Htein Pan Village in Myingyan Township of Mandalay Region. The shells exploded within the village. As a result, Daw Nyo Chaw (45 years old), a resident of the village, died on the spot. Additionally, U Ye Myint (80 years old), U Kyaw Lwin (56 years old), Daw Than Nyunt (76 years old) and Daw Myint Myint Lwin (64 years old), also residents of the village, sustained shrapnel wounds. All injured individuals were transported to Mandalay Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets into towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, civilian casualties have been reported. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
