Innocent Civilian Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Oakpho Township of Bago Region

     In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 2 June 2025 at 6:20 PM, U Aung Moe Khine (62 years old), a resident of Htan Pin Kone Village in Oakpho Township of Bago Region, was on his way to Chaung Khwa (K) Village. When he arrived on the village commutable road between Chaung Khwa (K) Village and Tha Yet Nhat Phyar Lein Village, two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on him. As a result, U Aung Moe Khine died on the spot, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.
