Innocent Civilians, Including a Child, Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by Terrorist Faction in Thabeikkyin Township of Mandalay Region 

     Terrorists have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets, and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 21 April 2025 at 2:30 PM, a report stated that two men and a child with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as U Kyaw Zin Win (aka) Kyaw Gyi (31 years old), U Min Min Naing (aka) Phoe Lone (31 years old) and Aung Bone Myint Myat (one and half years old), all residents of Yae Hwat Village in Thabeikkyin Township. The incident occurred when a terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victims’ village. The shells exploded within the village, causing their injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 12:00 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Zaw Min (54 years old), a resident of Kwin (30) Village in Thabeikkyin Township. The incident occurred when a terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village. The shells exploded within the village, causing his injuries, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians including children have been injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
