Innocent Civilians, Including Children, Killed and Injured in Drone Bomb Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorist Faction in Wetlet Township of Sagaing Region

     Terrorists committing inhuman acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
      Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 25 April 2025 at 10:25 AM, a terrorist faction carried out an attack by dropping bombs on No.1 Ward in Wetlet Township of Sagaing Region. The bombs exploded within the village. As a result, U Nan Wai (43 years old), Daw Win Khine (47 years old), U Aung Myo Swe (37 years old), Ma Khine Yi Yi Mon (26 years old), Mg Saw Kaung Thit Htoo ( two years old) and Mg Ye Khant Zaw (17 years old), all residents of the village, sustained shrapnel wounds. All injured individuals were transported to Wetlet Township Public Hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, Mg Saw Kaung Thit Htoo succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment, it is reported.
      Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets into towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, civilian casualties have been reported. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
