Terrorists committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets, and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards, and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 6 March, 2025 at 1:30 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the District Public Hospital in Meiktila Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Mg Thant Zin Nyein (18 years old) a resident of Nat Saut Village in Taungtha Township. The incident occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the victim’s village. One of the heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 4:10 PM, a report stated that a child with shrapnel injuries was admitted to the Township Public Hospital in Kyauktaga Township of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was Ma San Thee (six year old) and resident of Kwin Myauk Ward in Kyauktaga Township. The incident occurred when a faction of KNU members who support terrorism, along with so-called PDF terrorists conducted an attack by dropping bombs on the victim’s ward. The bombs exploded within the ward, resulting in her injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
