Innocent Civilians Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack on Village by Terrorists

     Insurgents committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets, and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 21 January 2025 at 6:00 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into Thet Kal Kyin Village in Patheingyi Township of Mandalay Region. One of the shells exploded within the village, As a result, Daw Hla Hla Maw (30 years old), a resident of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Mandalay Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
