Innocent Civilians Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack on Villages by Terrorists

     Terrorists committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 7 March 2025 at 4:05 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Township Public Hospital in Dawei Township of Tanintharyi Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Saw Say Li Htoo (37 years old), a resident of Nyaung Chaung Village in Dawei Township. The incident occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons on the victim’s village. One of the shells exploded within the village, resulting in his injures, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 4:30 PM, a report stated that two women with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Township Public Hospital in Taungoo Township of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were Daw Kyu Kyu Than (40 years old) and Daw Ni Ni Win (42 years old), both residents of Gwayt Gyi Village in Htantapin Township. The incident occurred when a faction of KNU members who support terrorism, along with so-called PDF terrorists fired heavy weapons at the victims’ village. The heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, causing injuries to the victims, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
