Monk Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by So-called PDF Terrorists in Village in Natogyi Township of Mandalay Region 

    Terrorists committing inhuman acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones on residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 15 April 2025 at 11:50 AM, a report stated that a monk with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was an abbot named San Wara (52 years old) with (32 years) of monkhood, from Yae Lal Monastery in Kyun Daunk Village, Natogyi Township of Mandalay Region. The incident occurred when a so-called PDF terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into the village. The heavy weapon shells exploded within the village, resulting the abbot’s injuries, it is reported.
    Due to the heinous acts committed by armed terrorists such as engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs in towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside monks have been injured. As a result, local residents are vehemently protesting against these acts of terrorism and firmly rejecting them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local communities, it is reported.
