One Innocent Civilian Killed, Three Others Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by Terrorist Faction in Taungtha Township of Mandalay Region 

     Terrorists have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 21 April 2025 at 2:30 AM, a terrorist faction fired heavy weapons into Shwe Than Bo Village in Taungtha Township of Mandalay Region. The shells exploded within the village. As a result, Daw Thint (35 years old), a resident of the village, died on the spot. Additionally, U Win Kyaw (52 years old), Ma May Hnin Thet Oo (16 years old) and Ma Thal Thal Wai (13 years old), also residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuires and were transported to Meiktila District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians have been injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
