So-Called PDF Terrorists Attack and Destroy Railway Station, Aiming to Disrupt local Transportation Networks in Phyu Township of Bago Region

     So-called PDF terrorists attacked and destroyed a railway station, disrupting local transportation networks in Phyu Township of Bago Region.
     The incident occurred that on 25 June 2025 at 1:20 AM, when a so-called PDF terrorist group armed with 40mm small weapons attacked Zay Ya Wadi Railway Station in Pyu Township of Bago Region. In response, security forces returned fire, forcing the terrorists to retreat by 2:00 AM. During the attack, the terrorists entered the railway station and attacked U Thar Htet Soe, the deputy stationmaster, by beating him and shooting him, leaving him injured. In addition, the terrorists cut the communication lines of three telephones inside the station and took three hand throw levers (manual track swith levers) and one key, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
