Terrorists Attack Township Development Committee Office with IED in Sagaing Township of Sagaing Region

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 March 2025 at 5:35 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred at the Township Development Committee Office in Poe Tan Ward, Sagaing Township of Sagaing Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that two so-called PDF terrorists riding a motorcycle had thrown an improvised explosive device into the office and fled. The device exploded on the open ground in the backyard of the office. As a result of the explosion, nine glass panes of the office’s door were damaged and no injury was reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
