Terrorists Blow Up Bridge No.(1/4) in Tanintharyi Township of Tanintharyi Region

     Extremist terrorists are deliberately targeting and disrupting the nation's transportation networks by using explosive devices to destroy public roads, railways, government offices and residential buildings. Their actions include planting mines and conducting remote-controlled explosions with the aim of severing communication routes and causing widespread instability.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, 22 March 2025 at around 12:00 PM, a report stated that a terrorist faction blew up Bridge No. (1/4) Chaung Hnit Pauk Village in Tanintharyi Township, Tanintharyi Region. The bridge, located between mileposts 3/2 and 3/3 on the Hton Kha-Thae Phyu-Maw Taung road, was severely damaged. When security personnel conducted a further investigation, they discovered that the explosion caused the collapse of the third span of the 240 foot long, 28 foot wide reinforced concrete bridge, including its railings and flooring. As a result, the bridge is now impassable for vehicles, it is reported.
     Authorities are currently working to expedite the repair of the bridge damaged in the aforementioned incident. Meanwhile, security personnel are continuing efforts to apprehend the terrorists responsible for the explosion, following necessary security protocols, it is reported.
