Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 30 December 2024 at 9:20 AM, Daw Htwar Po (64 years old), Daw Han Myint (52 years old) and U Myint (63 years old), all residents of Thit Khaunt Taung Village in Salin Township of Magway Region, were travelling on a sidecar motorcycle to Kan Pyar Village for shopping. When they reached a location approximately one mile south of their village, between Thit Khaunt Taung Village and Pauk Kyin Village, the motorcycle triggered an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, causing it to explode. As a result, U Myint died on the spot, while Daw Htwar Po and Daw Han Myint sustained shrapnel injuries. The deceased and injured individuals were transported to Salin Township Public Hospital for examination and medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 9:20 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in Kyun Taw (Ah lal) Ward, Sanchaung Township of Yangon Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that the explosion caused by a timing explosive device planted near two small generators in front of the “Pan Hlaing Family” clinic in the ward by a so-called PDF terrorist group. As a result, two small generators, the clinic’s signboard, a Toyota Crown vehicle (License Plate No. YGN/7L- XXXX), a Toyota Mark II vehicle (License Plate No. YGN-36/1E-XXXX), a Honda Accord vehicle (License Plate No. YGN-36/7C-XXXX), a Toyota Saloon vehicle (License Plate No. YGN-14/7G-XXXX), a Toyota Crown vehicle (License Plate No. YGN-36/2J-XXXX) and a Nissan Sunny vehicle (License Plate No. YGN-36/9Q-XXXX), all parked in front of the clinic, were damaged. Fortunately, there were no injuries, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
