Terrorists carried out inhumane acts using explosive devices by capitalizing on unguarded moments of security personnel

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 24 January 2025 at 9:30 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred near Ngwe Twin Village in Ayartaw Township of Sagaing Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that U Kyaw Win (62 years old), Daw Ohn Mar Khine (40 years old), Daw Mal Thi (39 years old) and Ma Kyal Sin Phyo (12 years old), all residents of the village, were heading to a betel plantation yard approximately six furlongs west of the village. Upon reaching an area near a creek, they triggered an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction, causing it to detonate. As a result, they sustained shrapnel injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment at a clinic in the village, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 11:00 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries had admitted to the “Aye Myit Tar” special clinic located in No. 2 Ward in Madaya Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the clinic for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Wai Lin Aung (aka) Nyi Nyi Aung (40 years old), a resident of Pate Tha Noe Village in Madaya Township. The incident occurred that while the victim was returning to his village from Shan Myaung Village. Upon reaching the area near the Yae Kyaw Bridge (locally known as such), he triggered an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction, causing it to detonate and resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
