In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 March 2025 at 11:30 AM, a report stated that an explosion occurred in Zay Ahnout Ward, Phekon Township of Southern Shan State. When security personnel promptly arrived at the scene for further investigation, it was discovered that while U Aye Maung (37 years old) and his son, Mg Aung Kyi (20 years old), both residents of Lon Kar Village in Phekon Township, were picking tamarind from a tamarind tree in the ward, an explosive device planted by a terrorist faction explosive nearby. As a result, they sustained shrapnel injuries and were transported to No.2 Military Hospital (700 bedded) in Aungpan Town for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
