In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 April 2025 at 5:15 PM, three children; Ma Zin Myat Noe (12 years old), Ma Kyal Sin Lin Thant (17 years old) and Ma Sin Thida Theint (12 years old), all residents of No.3 Ward in Ka Ma Maung Town, Pharpon Township of Kayin State, were playing in a playground of their ward near the “Wai Nay Ya Thu Kha Chan Thar Aye” Pagoda. They stepped on an explosive device planted by a terrorist faction, causing it to detonate. The blast left them with shrapnel injuries, and they were subsequently transported to Hpa-an Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
