Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and spread fear. They are also indiscriminately planting landmines on public roads, targeting government offices with explosives, and engaging in destructive acts without regard for reason or morality.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 July 2025 at 10:25 AM, a combined group of pro-terrorism KNU members, along with so-called PDF terrorists fired improvised rockets on No. 4 Ward in Kyon Doe Town, Kawkareik Township of Kayin State. One of the rocket shells exploded within the ward. As a result, Daw Wah(55 years old), Daw Mal(52 years old) and Ko Saw Kan Win Thein(29 years old), all residents of the ward, sustained shrapnel injuries from the blast. All injured individuals were transported to Kyon Doe Station Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
