Two Education Staff and Nine Innocent Civilians Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Natmauk Township of Magway Region

    Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, Drones to Drop Bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities including abducting and extorting money from civil servant’s  families, local civilians and students, as well as killings.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 June 2025 at 5:00 AM, approximately 10 so-called PDF terrorists arrived at Kyauk Tal Village in Natmauk Township of Magway Region, riding a CANTER six-wheeled vehicle and brandishing small weapons. The terrorists abducted Daw Than Than Win, a junior assistant teacher from the Basic Education Middle School in the village, along with U Tin Sein, Daw Kyi Sint, U Than Kyan, U Bo Myint, and U Tin Tun, all residents of the village. Additionally, the terrorists procceeded to Yae Htwut Village, where they abducted U Aung Sein, the headmaster of the Basic Education Primary School in Oak Shik Kone Village, along with U Myint Naing, U Win Naing, U Sein Kying and Daw Phal, all resident of Yae Htwut Village. In total, the terrorists abducted two educational staff members and nine innocent civilians, then herded them into their vehicle and headed toward Tha Nat Kone Village in Yaenanchaung Township, it is reported.
    In response to the incident, security personnel are conducting ongoing operations in line with standard procedures to ensure the prompt rescue of the abducted individuals and to bring the perpetrators to justice, it is reported.
