Terrorists committing inhuman acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 29 April 2025 at 12:35 PM, a report stated that two men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Thein Za Yat Station Hospital in Kyaikto Township of Mon State. When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victims were U Soe Win (73 years old) and U San Htay (38 years old), both residents of Kwin Seik Village in Shwegyin Township of Bago Region. The incident occurred when a group of pro-terrorism KNU members, in collaboration with so-called PDF terrorists carried out an attack by dropping bombs on the victims’ village. The bombs exploded within the ward, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets into towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, civilian casualties have been reported. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
