Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians, as well as killings.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 June, 2025 at 2:30 PM, U Tin Soe (45 years old) and his daughter, Ma Sandar Myint (18 years old), both residents of Thone Lan Sone Village in Shwe Maung Gwot Village Tract, Tatkon Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, were abducted from their house by five so-called PDF terrorists for allegedly failing to inform them about military movements. The terrorists arriving by three motorcycles and covered the victims’ faces with cloths before taking them toward Ywar Thit Kone Village. Then, on 30 June 2025 at 9:00 AM, the terrorists threatened them and then released. However, the terrorists forcibly took three mobile phones from them.
Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
